Its not shopped or at least the zipper isn't. Check out http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8AOEjCwM18k this. its not exactly it but the skin tone change is probably nose putty.
I love this makeup technique. It uses a real zipper. There are people on deviantart who have other versions of this. First time seeing one with colored contacts, though. I hope I can come up with an affordable version of it for next halloween.
>.< Liquid latex for the zipper? Too complicated. This person clearly glued it on with spirit gum, popped in some costume contacts, and probably mixed stage blood with vaseline for the gorey effects. You can even see the fabric parts of the zipper covered with your run-of-the-mill stage makeup foundation.
I've seen people do this same makeup technique all my life. I grew up with it. Thats how I know.... ....that this is totally fake. Definitely photoshopped.
this really wouldn't be hard to do. Just get a zipper, latex, stage makeup, vaseline, and f'd up contacts. Even if this one is fake, its plausible for it to be real. You people need to get a reality check
Clearly the earlier posters (and some of the later ones too) have never witnessed theatrical makeup in their lives. This is 100% possible to do with some stage makeup. I agree with the other Jan 11th Anonymous...you people need a reality check.
It's not shopped. its just a cosmetic layer they put down and added a zipper to it. it's been done before. just like if you were to put a fake gash on your face for halloween.
The people that are saying "fake" are joking... They're not trolls. They're not idiots. It's (supposed to be) funny because it's a costume, so it is fake.
fake

ReplyDeleteUh, duh? The page said it was a costume!
I think he means to say it is a photoshop, rather than a costume which physically exists. I think that's actually pretty likely.
ReplyDeletepeople are so stupid sometimes, like the first guy who posted
ReplyDeleteYou do realize Anon #1 is just trying to spread rage, right?
ReplyDeleteTHIS LOOKS SHOPPED. I CAN TELL FROM SOME OF THE PIXELS AND FROM SEEING QUITE A FEW SHOPS IN MY TIME.

ReplyDeleteyou just use liquid latex to attach the zipper and the eyes are contacts...

ReplyDeleteIt's not fake. A costume zipper kept on with a cosmetic glue
ReplyDeletefake fake fake there wouldn't be blood on his shirt if it were real
ReplyDeleteits not a "fake". it really is a special effects makeup job. I'm a makeup artist and this effect is actually very simple. definitely not a photoshop
ReplyDeleteThis is obviously fake, nobody could survive the surgery to get a zipper stitched into their face. (though I do know people stupid enough to try)
ReplyDeleteYou guys are retarded. Its obviously a latex mask. pretty sweet though for amature work.
